Donovan Construction, founded in 1918 is a high voltage electrical contractor based in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Donovan offers a full line of transmission, distribution and storm restoration services including energized construction, complete URD installations, service work and secondary fault locating, street light maintenance, automated meter installation and maintenance.

Our focus is on safe work practices while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Our customers include Xcel Energy, Great River Energy, Minnesota Power, Southern Minnesota Municipal Power, 3M and Wright Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association.

Donovan also has a close working relationship with several engineering firms including Ulteig and HDR Engineering.
